Palazzo Davia Bargellini, one of the most significant examples of Bolognese Baroque architecture, has returned to its splendour thanks to a complete restoration carried out by the Fondazione Opera Pia Da Via Bargellini, owner of the entire building.
During the planning of the recent restoration of the palace’s piano nobile, it emerged how the adaptation of the building for school purposes had entailed major changes to the layout of the rooms. After the removal of numerous superstructures, the hall overlooking Piazza Aldrovandi was brought back to light.
Two guided tours will be held on 4 November, at 3.30 pm and 5 pm.
