At the Teatro Comunale returns “Opera ReBOrn”, the exhibition-market of “unique pieces” of the stores of the Foundation that will take place on Saturday 23rd February, in collaboration with Confcommercio Ascom and the Municipality.
From 10 am to 5 pm, in the Largo Respighi and Rotonda Gluck area of the theater, stage costumes seen in lyric operas staged in the Bibiena hall and no longer usable, will have new life on fans of the genre, in the closets of collectors or even as an original disguise for the now incipient Carnival.
They range from single items, not attributable to specific productions, to others instead of historical performances, up to the most recent costumes signed, for example, by Sylvie Martin-Hyszka in 2005 and worn in Verdi’s Traviata directed by Irina Brook , or edited in the same year by Zofia de Ines for Mozart’s Ascanio in Alba staged by Michał Znaniecki. There will be over 400 costumes and around 50 hats and wigs on display and offered for sale.
