Settore Sport and Settore Musei Civici of the Municipality of Bologna together with Bologna Marathon unite sport and culture on the occasion of the Bologna Marathon, offering sportsmen and women various cultural opportunities.
By presenting the bib number, either physical or in photos, of all the competitions on 2 and 3 March 2024 – Bologna Marathon, “30 Km dei Portici”, UnipolMove RUN TUNE UP, Tecnocasa Bologna CityRun and the Tigotà Kids Marathon – at the museum ticket counters, marathon runners will be entitled to a number of concessions for themselves and two accompanying persons:
Free guided tours in Italian and English and a special welcome service in the halls on Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March 2024 in 7 museum venues (Museo del Patrimonio Industriale, Museo civico del Risorgimento, Cimitero Monumentale della Certosa, Museo Civico Medievale, MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna, Museo Civico Archeologico and Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica) to tell stories of sport, and not only, linked to the permanent collections
Reduced admission – from Friday 1 March to Sunday 30 June 2024 – to all the Civic Museums (in addition to the museums already mentioned, the reduction is also valid at the Municipal Art Collections).
