Gifts at the Palazzo, the most important window of the Christmas gift of Bologna in which the best of Italian craftsmanship and quality Made in Italy is presented in the splendid setting of Palazzo Re Enzo.
The event began this Thursday, December 6 and will come to an end on Sunday, December 9, with the following times: Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 21:30 and Sunday from 10:00 and closing at 20:00.
Moreover, in the same location of Palazzo Re Enzo there will be presentations of books by Giraldi Editore.
The first book was presented on December 6 in the magnificent Sala del Podestà while Friday 7 at 18 will be the turn of the presentation of the book “194 – nineteen ways to say” by Camilla Endrici published by Giraldi publisher. He will dialogue with the writer Annamaria Tagliavini. Camilla Endrici, in this book tells nineteen stories of women who have not become mothers, making a historical overview of the current situation regarding the interruption of pregnancy.
The presentation of the book “Bologna va in campagna” by Gianluigi Schiavon (journalist and writer) and Paolo Miccoli (photographer) will be held on December 8th at 3pm. The writer Fiorenza Renda will talk to the authors. “Bologna goes to the countryside” is the continuation of a journey, between photos and poems, images, suggestions and memories, is the ideal follow-up to “In Bologna there was the sea”, the other work of this couple of tried and tested authors published by Giraldi Editore. Even the new volume contains 100 photos plus one and each image is accompanied by a poem or a miniature story.
The series of presentations will end on December 9th at 6 pm Gabriella Pirazzini with her book “La Misura”. The journalist Elisabetta Gori will talk to the author, who will also host the other guests: Cristina Valenti of the University of Bologna, Lisa Bellocchi journalist, Paola Rossi photographer, Luigi Tranchini reader and Bruno Bagnaresi, president of the Matteo Bagnesi Onlus foundation. Gabriella, has chosen to donate her proceeds from the copyright to the Fondazione Matteo Bagnaresi Onlus *, where the author herself volunteers as a post-school homework help.
