On Thursday, 6 June, at the Raccolta Lercaro, Yolanda Sabaté of the Hispania Asociacion Cultural will guide us in the footsteps of Juan and Antonio, the protagonists of a Cervantes’ novella, in their search for the lady Cornelia through the streets of Bologna. Afterwards, Alessandro Argnani and Roberto Magnani of Ravenna Teatro will delve into Don Quixote, presenting images and videos of the project ‘Don Quixote to burn’, a work in development for 2024. This event will also introduce the second act of the three-year project (2023-2025) ‘Don Chisciotte ad ardere’, conceived by Ermanna Montanari and Marco Martinelli of Teatro delle Albe in Ravenna.
The story is thus transformed into an allegory of the inner journey, with Don Quixote as the symbol of the ‘ardent’ dreamer who rejects injustice. An invitation to be active spectators, on stage and in life.
The evening will be free admission and will begin at 6 p.m., concluding with an aperitif on the museum terrace.
